Counselor in Training Program

Viewpoint’s CIT program is a wonderful way for students to learn and practice leadership skills while still enjoying summer activities and experiences. CITs may either participate in Roadrunner Summer or Coyote Service Learning. CITs will be assigned to groups, workshops, programs, and classes based on the needs of the Program, previous CIT experience, availability, and the discretion of the Directors. A two week minimum is required to attend this program. Future paid junior and senior counselors may be hired from the pool of former CITs.
Please Note: For Camp Roadrunner Counselor-in-Training Program will have a mandatory training meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. for CIT's enrolled in weeks 1 - 3. For CIT's enrolled in only weeks 4-6 will have a mandatory training meeting on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.
You must register for a minimum of two weeks in order to participate in the Camp Roadrunner CIT Program.
